A very good day to all you gentlemen, I am Hong Jin Xiang and this is my fifth blog posting. :) The topic for this blog posting is a certain someone... and its not my girlfriend, if thats what you are thinking. That person is of medium height, and has a large belly. It's a HE and is quite well known in Singapore. He is more commonly known as the infamous "Bishan Gay".Some of you may know who he is, but some of you will not. For those who do not know who that guy is, he is... well, a gay that hangs around Bishan. To be more specific, his common haunts are Junction 8(mostly at the KFC), the bus 156 and even the Nanyang bus stop opposite our totally awesome school. People say that he stays at those places for the WHOLE DAY. He earned himself some publicity but going on the newspaper some time back, but not for the right reasons. He is also mentioned in some other blogs too. He can be seen listening to music through his earpieces, but his music can be heard at least a metre away. Seriously. He also has a bag which he carries along with him, and also a handphone which he uses to take pictures of boys. Rumour has it that he likes young boys that wear SHORT PANTS. He also wears this pair of large spectacles. Now, my friend heard about the Bishan Gay and actually went online to search for more information about him. It turns out that his real name is Daniel Cheng, and he used to be a student in Raffles Institution.(I think he also returned as a teacher.) Although he is in his forties, he returns to RI to attend alumni functions, and is often seen wearing shirts that are linked to the school. Other then staying at his usual haunts for long periods of time, he also makes people nervous by his "perverted smile". He smiles at the person in a strange manner, which usually results in the person running away from him. As for me, I have met him in person a few times. Once, my friend and I were at the Nanyang bus stop with him. When we got near him, we could hear old chinese music blasting from his earpieces. My friend then stared at him, he actually LEANED towards my friend and glared at him, with his eyeballs popping out. My friend freaked out and ran towards the other end of the bus stop. On another encounter with him, my friend and I were on the same bus, 156, as him. We were standing and leaning on the bars that the handicapped can hold on to, when he suddenly stretched out his arm and grabbed the pole right behind me.I turned around and saw his hand so close to me, I almost shouted out loud. My friend and I then proceeded to another side of the bus, to increase the distance between ourselves and the Bishan Gay. We avoided eye contact with him throughout the end of our bus journey. I hope that you do not get into trouble with Bishan Gay in the future.
Signing off,
Hong Jin Xiang
