Hi all,
I received my second training yesterday during my CCA times. This St. Johns training was much tougher than I expected. We had to stand in the hot sun at Senang-Diri position for around half-and-hour to wait for the parade to start, worst of all, we weren't included in the parade... Madness!
After the parade, we were suppose to go back to the cadets room to report. We learned the proper way of taking attendance. Well, during the process, something happened, tell you later. So, after the attendance taking, we were taught the different ranks in the CCA and how to greet these NCOs. So there was a Lance Corporal, Corporal, Sergeant and Staff Sergeant. Out of no where, my platoon's platoon officer said, "You all know just now while taking attendance right, I didn't take it, so I need to take it again." What!!?!!?!?!?
After everything, we were told to go the multi-story car-park where we learned the 'up-bang' combination. This is the combination we had to do when changing positions outdoors, like from Senang-Diri to Sedi-Ia and vice-versa. The first timer couldn't shout the 'up' properly, so we had a new timer. Lol....
Time flew, after practicing our 'up-bang' combination, our Sergeants said that they had something prepared for us, so we were told to stand at Senang-Diri position and Diam(a command that means you cannot move at all) and they started to perform stupid things. After a while, I knew that things much funny can get coming, thus i just made myself laugh and got out. Hehe... I spent my whole time laughing after that.
Back at the SALT centre, we learned how to pump, and blah blah blah. The last thing that we had learned was to report. Reporting is needed when we want to enter the Cadets Room and someone higher ranking is inside. So the format is... I forgotten. Never mind, next week go see.xP
Then came the Last Parade, where the seniors would be there shouting things which I only understand the 'Ma'am, Sirs, Sergeant, Corporals and Lance Corporals '. ROFL...
After we were back in the room, gone we were.
Like I am now. Gone I am.
Bye.
