Week 0- Posting to Hwa Chong. This was the end of the holidays. I was enthusiastic about being a part of the Hwa Chong Family with 10 other friends. It was a tough time to spend, having to wait for a whole week.
Week 1- Orientation Days. During the first day, it suddenly came to me if I had joined the wrong school. I was totally worn out by the cheers practice. I was worried, wondering if the next 6 years would be difficult for m e and if i could cope with it. Then, my whole opinion changes as the next few days approached. It changed even more when the next week came.
Week 2-Week of opinion change. I got to find out that the life in Hwa Chong weren't that bad. However, it certainly wasn't as easy as well. Although the amount of homework was minimal, I knew that this was only the first week. Besides, I found that going home for me was a big problem if I had to take bus. It would take me a whole 1 hour to reach home--what am I suppose to do if I have tons of homework and can't get home early next time? By the end of the week, this worry was heavy on me... Very worrying indeed...
Week 3-4- Weeks of adaptations. The 2 weeks had helped me adapt to my workload much, I officially started my revisions for tests. Despite the fact that I had more homework and less time, I still successfully managed to get used to the time-stress I encounter everyday. Especially days which I have to stay back in school.
Week 5-6- Weeks of relaxation. The approach of the Lunar New Years made me feel so much better. In spite of the Math test on Week 6's Wednesday, the two weeks were still a breeze for me.
Week 7-present- Weeks of stress. Everyday, I have to spent much time revising and preparing for tests. It isn't pleasant at all. Studying seems so much more stressful compared to PSLE, even thoug PSLE is a national exam. Currently, at least most of the tests are over. However, I have a quote for myself, "Studying ain't tough, waiting for results is tougher." Maybe I should send this to the Reader's Digest. Lol...
That's all. Bye.
5th post of Term 1.
