I would like to wish evryone from 1A2(including the teachers)a happy and properous Lunar New year. 新年快乐!:) Today's chinese new year celebration was somewhat interesting(maybe not really). But anyway, the programmes are(not in order): lion dance, chinese orchestra, lunar new year songs by teachers, wushu performance and cross talk in chinese...
Oh yeah, I forgot to include some other programmes.Prize presentation for lantern-making and classroom design competition and peeling oranges competition.Aphelion or 1A2 did not win anything, so those are not really important to talk about at all.The probably most happiest moment(for 1A2) should be when our form teacher,Mr Chua, won a lucky draw and got the biggest hamper. :).Everyone (or most?)of us were crazy about that.
Now I will comment on the performances. Actually, the performances were about what i had expected.New year celebrations are always made up of these programmes. The one I enjoyed most should be the wushu performance(although i am not in wushu).I was impressed by the stunning kicks and weapons. The one I found the most boring would be the chinese orchestra songs as I do not really like music.
This was not the end of my day yet. After the celebration, my primary school classmates and I went to visit our teachers. The distance between the two schools is just by few bus stops, so we walked to the school. We met with our primary school classmates from other secondary schools. We were not so lucky as we were not allowed to enter the general office and could only wait outsise the staff room for them. But eventually, we still managed to neet up with them.We shared our own experiences and chatted for quite a long time before we said goodbye.
This is the end of my third post for the class blog. Hope you had enjoyed it. :)
