Hi this is dexin and my 5th posting.Today im gonna write about the going to the museum to see egyptian mummies.I was excited cuz i think that we were gonna see real egyptian mummy.At the museum, we had to attend a workshop about egypt.It was quite boring as we had to listen to the teacher talking and we had to answer her question(the teacher is a female).The only nice part about it is that we get to make our own papyrus inspired paper(papyrus=paper made by the egyptians from weeds).

Then finally the nice part came, we get to go to the exhibit to take a look at some egyptian artefacts.I was hoping that we would see a mummy but to my dismay the tour guide said that we will only see the coffin.Nonetheless, there was some quite interesting artefacts like the sphinxe.Later, we also found out that inside 1 of the coffin was a pair of twins n their mother.I think that the egyptians were evil as they killed their servants and asked to be mummified so that they could serve the master in the afterlife.

Then at the end of the exhibit was some activity stations where we could learn about what some of the pictures in the egyptian writing mean.There was also some games played by the egyptians that we could try but none of us tried.Then there was a station where they teach u how to fold a miniature pyramid using a square paper.

That was the end of our tour in the museum and i enjoyed some of the tour only.I was exhuasted and felt like sleeping rite away.That is the end of my posting and hoped u enjoyed it.
