Hi everyone from 1A2.I am Lim Zheng Xiang and I am from Nanyang Primary School.I got in to Hwa chong with a T-score of 259 and a distinction for my higher chinese.I am proud to join the Hwa Chong family as it was my dream school since I was Primary 4.My index number is 21(in case u do not know)and my birthday falls on the 11th October.My hobbies include reading and playing badminton(but i suck).I am also quite interested in Soccer and my favourite club is Chelsea(u may think it sucks but i dont really care).
My first impression on Hwa Chong
My impression on Hwa Chong was a super large school with a soooo many facilities like the computer labs, science labs, the 2-storey library,the auditorium,and last but not least the extra large school field!But too bad part of it is going to be taken off soon:( I also find that Hwa Chong is full of kind and friendly teachers and students.:)))
SOO '10
The sec one orientation was very fun and interesting.I was grouped into group 10 but I dont think anyone from 1A2 was in that group.I enjoyed the team building games and the cheers competition. My team got only 4 flags and I went home with a terrible sore throat:(.I dont quite like the times when the buddies asked us to cheer and no matter how loud we cheer, they would still say things like"Your cheer is so soft!" and "My grandmother can do better than you!" Anyway,I still enjoyed it quite a lot:).But I think it still could be improved.
Start of school
The first day of school was a little boring.But as the days gone by,I have known many good friends,classmates and teachers. I think the amount of homework now is still fine.But I think it would increase as the weeks past.My goal for the year is to get an MSG(including scholastic)of about 1.75.I hope i can reach my target.

Lastly, I would like to wish everyone a happy CNY and succeess in Hwa Chong.
