A brief Introduction about myself
Hello Everyone, I am Chua Zhong Zhi from class 1A2 and I am proud to be a part of the aphelion consortium. I was from Fuhua Primary School. But I do not think that that is important as we are now all in Hwa Chong Institution. Hwa Chong Institution was my dream school and I am very happy to be in this school. The teachers in this school are all very friendly and so are my classmates. Throughout these three weeks of school, I have made many new friends and I hope that our friendship will never end.
During my free time, I would play Mousehunt- A computer game on facebook. (Anyone else playing?) (:
My first Impression of Hwa Chong
Before I came to Hwa Chong, many of my friends already told me that it was a great school and I was looking forward to coming to school. And, true enough, when I entered the school gates of Hwa Chong, I could see how big the school was. There were many objects that caught my attention, including the big clock tower in the middle of our school. The school field was very big and I could already see it from the gate entrance. Everything in Hwa Chong was just great!
Sec 1 Orientation
On the fourth on January, all the secondary ones went for our Sec 1 orientation. We were assigned to groups and I was in group 20. It was three days of fun, and exciting activities were planned for us. We went for cheers competitions, structure building and lots of games. We were also brought to the Auditorium and that was the place in school that I enjoyed the most as it had very comfortable seats and it was air conditioned. It was definitely a memorable camp for me.
First week of school
On the first day of school, we were introduced to our form teacher, Mr Chua. He is a very kind and friendly teacher and I am very happy that he is our form teacher. We were then brought around the school and throughout the week, we met up with our subject teachers and lessons were carried out as usual. The lesson I enjoy the most is during Science Lab class, when we get to go to the Science Laboratory to carry out experiments. School has been going on very well so far and I hope that my 6 years in Hwa Chong would be the best days of my life.
